Every year for my birthday I try and take a trip up to Colorado. Usually it starts with no particular route, other than driving wherever the most scenic roads will take me (or us). One of my favorite routes is heading in to Ouray. Ouray is a beautiful little place nestled among-st the hovering mountains. The road there is fairly dangerous and consists of narrow winding roads heading up the mountain side, but if you can make it safe, it sure is worth it!
Last year, after Ouray we headed to Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. It’s not the largest park but definitely has some cool rides like a cliff side giant swing (not for the faint of heart).
Look out for some cool camping areas along the path (try Canyon camping for something different) and enjoy the wildlife you’ll spot throughout your trip.
